Forever Intertwined

In realms of hearts entwined, a tale of love,
Where stars above do shimmer and shine,
A bond that’s woven deep, like skies above,
Two souls in harmony, forever intertwined.

With every beat, a symphony of grace,
Love’s gentle touch, a tender embrace,
In laughter and in tears, a constant space,
Two lives together, finding solace’s embrace.

Through trials and storms, love stands the test,
A flame that burns, enduring and blessed,
In whispered words and gestures, confessed,
A journey of two hearts, forever pressed.

Oh, love’s sweet magic, a force divine,
In every touch, in every glance, it shines,
A dance of souls, an eternal sign,
In each other’s arms, forever, they recline.

Life Lately | 02

This should have been posted last August 01, 2020 around 8:50PM.

Whenever people ask me kung kumusta na ba ako, I always replied, “Okay lang.” “Okay lang naman ako.”

And someone asked me, “musta ka naman dyan?” And I replied, “Kumusta na nga ba ‘ko?”

That hits me. Kumusta na nga ba ako in the real sense of it.

So here’ s my life lately.

It’s almost half of 2020. August na. Maya-maya lang 30 years old na ‘ko. (OMG!)

So yeah, how’s my life at the start of the year? Or how’ s my 2020 so far? A lot happened! As in! Pandemic. Lockdown. New normal. New lifestyle. New life routine. Closure from the past. And everything else.

Start of the year is a blast. Why? Because someone important to us came back. Inay is so happy. Tatay is here. Finally! After 10 years I think of not being with us, andito na siya ulit. Bit awkward at first, kasi hindi ako sanay na he’s around. But as long as inay is happy, then I’m good. I know I’ll get used to it soon and I know I’ll get there.

Taal happened.

Then COVID-19 happened. Damn. I never imagined that I would get to experience this global pandemic. You know, lockdown. Minimal movements, a mask is a must. Mass gathering is a no-no. No leisure activities. No travel diaries this 2020, I guess. From ECQ to GCQ to MECQ and MGCQ, oh boy name it! This 2020 is crazy!

And then this someone from the past who got to say sorry and tell his reason why left back then. Though his reason is still quite vague to me, it’s fine. As long as he is sorry for what he’d done, it’s all good. I just want him to be happy.

And I’m starting to open up to other people. I can now somehow tell my stories to them bit by bit.

All in all, I would say that I’m doing totally fine.

There are still a lot of things to be grateful for. Walang nagkakasakit sa family ko. I still have my job. I still able to pay my bills. Seriously, I’m happy and well.

So, for the question “Kumusta ka na nga ba?”, my answer is, though may mga moments na nadi-disappoint ako, napu-frustrate ako at times, umiiyak ako minsan, I’m doing well.

This twenty-something gal is still happy, still loved and still beyond grateful! 💛

P. S. This 2020, I also got my first tattoo. (on my next blog soon)

How’s Life Entry Vol.03

image

It’s been a month since my last blog post and since 2015 is about to end here is my How’s Life Entry Vol.03. Let me take a look how’s my life been this year.

1. Rate your Life:
4/5 stars

2. Reason for Rating:
Well I can say that this year has been awesome, however I just rate  4 out of 5 since there are still some  flaws and down moments. Personally I enjoyed 2015 so well, I have a fine job, good friends, I got time to have fun and relax although when it comes to my family, there are some not so happy instances (but let me keep mum about it). So there. 🙂

3. Happy memories from the past days:
There’s been a lot of happy memories for this year 2015. I can say that this year is about having fun and enjoying life to the fullest. This is the year I achieved my first trekking ever in Gulugod Baboy, enjoyed one of the beaches in Quezon and attended the famous Pahiyas festival in Lucban. I’ve been to Kamay ni Hesus as well this year. One of the unforgettable moments also for this year is that me and my girl squad checked in a hotel room just to watched Ang Tamang Panhon. Hihi And of course, how I can forget the highlight of my life for this year, I just watched the concert of my favorite band ever, Maroon 5!! Such an amazing night!  Really, dreams do come true! And this is also the first time I got  to travel with my soul sisters. We had our great North escapade! Awesome, awesome year!

4. Things you’ve Learned over the past days:
Words do matter. Alam mo yun, kung may gusto ka, be it long term goals, life long dreams, sulat mo lang and eventually it will come true! Yun ang opinyon ko. :))) And if you think you can, you can! Always have the courage to begin and moved on. Always have a happy heart. Believe in yourself and don’t be afraid to ask for help if you needed.

5. Things/People you’re starting to like:
This year I did enjoy every Saturday shift, sobrang petiks lang. I enjoy snapchatting. 🙂 And this year, Alden and Maine really took my heart away. I have already known Alden as one of the GMA artist, yun lang, not until ALDUB came along. When ALDUB was born, nagkaroon ako ng pakialam kay Alden, I stalked his twitter and Instagram accounts. LOL That goes with Maine as well, I searched every single detail for this girl, her social media accounts, even her blog, and she writes so damn well. So this year, sila ang minahal ko ng bongga.

6. Quote You Live By:
“Life is beautiful, you just have to know where to look.”

7. Achievements & Compliments You Have Received:
Accomplishments and achievements…. Hmmm let me see.. I do have a journal and I remembered that at the back of it I listed 100 things to do, and the last time I checked, I achieved some of those. Mga short term goals pa lang naman ang may checkmark  pero at least diba? Little by little, maachieve ko din yun lahat. Keep the faith. Major accomplishment for this year is being the top associate in our line of business for the month of August.. I’m so happy!

8. Current Favorite Song:
Wipe Your Eyes by Maroon 5 and Sayo by Silent Sanctuary.

9. What’s taking your time nowadays:
As usual, reading books, reading random blogs, watching kalyeserye, browsing the net.

10. Plans for the next days:
This coming 2016, I have a lot of plans at sana naman magawa ko silang lahat. I’m planning to take short courses in line to my field of specialization. I want to start a healthy living as much as I can, yes to exercise and no to fast-food chains. Please!!! I’m also planning to push the idea of starting a small business together with my best friend. Hoping for all these things to happen,

If years 2015 is all about concert and hang outs, I’m making sure that this 2016 it will be more productive. This 2016,, it will be better version of me, more responsible one especially in handling money. 2016 will be a blast!

40 Tips For A Better Life Everyday

Way back 2008 when we had our practicum, one of our seniors handed us a paper that says ’40 Tips For A Better Life Everyday’, I don’t know, maybe he found it online, but it’s very useful and inspiring. And last night, I just found this piece of paper again. Let me share what’s in it.

1. Take a 10-30 minute walk everyday. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Buy a lock if you have to.
3. Buy a DVR and tape your late nigjt shows and get more sleep.
4. When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, ‘My purpose is to ____________ today.’
5. Live with the 3 E’s — Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy.
6. Play more games and read more books than you did in 2007.
7. Make time to practice meditation, yoga, tai chi and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.
8. Spend time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6.
9. Dream more while you are awake.
10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
11. Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli, almonds and walnuts.
12. Try to make at least three people smile each day.
13. Clear clutter from your house, your car, your desk and let new and flowing energy into your life.
14. Don’t waste time your precious energy on gossip, energy vampires issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
15. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems ate simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like an algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
16. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out charge card.
17. Smile and laugh more. It will keep the energy vampires away.
18. Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
20. Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
21. You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
22. Make peace with your past so it won’t spoil the present.
23. Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
24. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
25. Frame every so called disaster with these words: ‘In five years, will this matter?’
26. Forgive everyone for everything.
27. What other people think of you is none of your business.
28. GOD heals almost everything.
29. However good or bad a sitiation is, it will change.
30. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
31. Get rid of anything that isn’t useful, beautiful or joyful.
32. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
33. The best is yet  come.
34. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
35. Do the right thing.
36. Call your family often. (Or email the to death!!)
37. Each night before you go to bed complete the following statements: I am thankful for ____________. Today I accomplished _______.
38. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.
39. Enjoy the ride. Remember this is not Disney World and you certainly don’t want a fast pass. You only have one ride through life so make the most of it and enjoy the ride.
40. Please forward this to everyone you care about.

I bet if we can just follow all these, we can enjoy and appreciate life more fully. We can be happier. We can have a life that is worth living.

So to someone reading this, I hope it motivates you the way it motivates me.
